I ordained as a monk (a Theravada Buddhist Bhikkhu) on Oct. 30, 2008. I’m now technically a “Thera”, or Elder, having more than 10 years seniority. The title “Ajahn” comes from Thai Buddhist monasticism, and means “teacher”.
